Ancient Order of Hibernians – Knoxville, Tennessee

Bringing the Irish American Catholic Brotherhood to East Tennessee

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) is America’s oldest Irish Catholic fraternal organization — a brotherhood of men dedicated to Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.
We are currently working to establish a new Knoxville Division and invite local men of Irish heritage and Catholic faith to be part of its founding group.

☘️ Who We Are

  • Support for the Catholic Church and parish life
  • Charitable and community service projects
  • Celebration of Irish culture, history, and music
  • Advocacy for peace and unity in Ireland
  • Brotherhood and friendship among Irish Americans

📍 Why Knoxville?

Knoxville and East Tennessee have a proud Irish heritage — from the early settlers who helped build the region to the Irish laborers who worked the railroads and mills. We’re now bringing that legacy to life again through faith, fellowship, and service.

Join us as we lay the foundation for a new Knoxville Division of the AOH.

✉️ Get Involved

If you’re:

  • Male, age 16 or older
  • Of Irish birth or descent
  • A Roman Catholic of good moral character

Then you’re invited to join us and become part of something historic.
