Some old microfiche copies of “The National Hibernian” have been uncovered by Brother Mike McCormack, our Past National Archivist. This was an earlier publication of the A.O.H. that was printed monthly from 1901? through 1947, when it was merged with the “National Hibernian Digest”.
We do not have a complete collection of issues. We have the full years of 1905-1914, these are followed by a very sparse sample from the following years … Feb. 1932, Oct. 1939, Feb. 1945, and the last we have is June 1947. Some of the earlier issues can be very difficult to read. For a good number of these issues searchable OCR text is not available, but at least we do have the images of the pages. There are some very interesting items waiting to be re-discovered in these pages. We hope you enjoy them.
