Please be advised of the following correction and clarification in the call to convention.
Requests for donations are required 30 day’s prior to the convention in accordance with:
ARTICLE XXIV
DONATIONS OR CONTRIBUTIONS: Section 1. No donation of $500.00 or more shall be made by the National Board without the National Secretary first submitting the matter to a vote of all members of the National Board. (By a majority of the members of the National Board Voting). No request for charitable contributions shall be considered at the National Convention unless it is first submitted to a committee appointed by the National President and received no later than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the National Convention. A vote of the delegates shall be required at a National Convention before any request for a donation or contribution submitted to it can be approved.
In rule 7 of the convention call it states: All requests for donations from the National Board must be received by the National Vice President, in writing and postmarked no later than midnight on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The proper date is Monday
June 30, 2014.
Clarification
Credentials are addressed in two sections of the Call. Credentials are required to be in 20 days in advance of the convention. We have requested to receive them by June 10 in order to assure time to prepare the credential cards. Credentials will be accepted up to 20 days in advance of the convention as stated per the constitution. Your assistance in submitting credentials early will be appreciated.
